Use case

AI social media content for restaurants and cafes

Between services there is no time for design. Attach your menu and a few dish photos, and Melon Cut Design makes the week's posts, stories and short videos in your restaurant's look, while your guidelines keep the menu board, the feed and the delivery app consistent.

Sounds familiar?

  • New posts needed for every menu change and daily special
  • Dish photos shot in a busy kitchen under poor light
  • No time to edit between lunch and dinner service
  • Delivery-app photos that look nothing like the restaurant

What you can make

  • Menu-launch posts: one feed post per new dish, with captions, from the menu attached as a PDF
  • A dish photo turned into a 10-second vertical video for Reels
  • A product packshot of the takeaway box on your brand colour, for the delivery app
  • A post for International Coffee Day or World Food Day, added from What's coming up
  • Stories for this week's specials, with the logo kept clear of the buttons
How it works

How restaurants and cafes use Melon Cut

  1. Attach the menu

Drop in the menu as a PDF or Word file - up to 10 documents - with a few dish photos, and add your restaurant's @username.

  2. Review the plan

Melon Cut lists every post, story and video it will make, each with a caption, and about how many credits they will use. Remove what you don't need.

  3. Make, check and download

Make them all, check each post for social media, copy the captions and download.

From the menu to a month of posts

A menu is already a content plan. Attach it as a document and ask for a post for every new dish: Melon Cut reads the first 60,000 characters, plans up to 30 items with a title and caption each, and makes them 3 at a time.

Kitchen photos at their best

Enhance details sharpens texture and fixes artifacts in a dim photo, and Upscale enlarges it 2× or 4× for print. Replace background moves the plate from a cluttered pass to a clean tabletop scene, and Product packshot does the same for bottled drinks and takeaway boxes. Keep the food itself as it is served, so what arrives at the table matches the picture.

One look on the board, the feed and the bag

Your guidelines hold the logo files, colour codes and fonts that the menu printer, the sign maker and the delivery app ask for. Send the link once, and every menu, sticker and post uses the same versions.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Can't find your answer? See every question.

Can I turn our menu into social media posts?

Yes. Attach the menu as a PDF, Word or text file and ask for posts. Melon Cut plans one item per dish or idea, each with a caption, and makes them together.

Can a photo of a dish become a video?

Yes. Make a video from pictures - one photo, or several, where the first opens and the last closes. A social media video is 1080 × 1920 and about 10 seconds long by default.
