Upscale an image without starting over

2× or 4×?
Choose by where the picture is going. Both options keep the shape and multiply the length of each side.
- 2× doubles the width and the height: a 1000-pixel-wide picture becomes 2000 pixels wide
- 4× makes each side four times as long: 1000 pixels becomes 4000
- Pick 4× for large prints and banners, and 2× when you only need some headroom
