AI image generator, step by step
Write the prompt
Describe the subject, the setting, the style and any words that should appear on the picture. Choose General design for a picture, or Social post for a 4:5 feed post.
Pick the settings
Choose square, portrait or landscape, Low, Medium or High quality, 1 to 4 pictures, and a transparent background if you need one. The studio shows what the run costs before you start.
Refine and download
Your next prompt changes the latest result, so you can adjust it in plain words. Download one picture, or all of them as a zip.
Text to image, in the shapes you actually use
Most marketing pictures end up in one of a few shapes. Melon Cut makes square 1:1 pictures for profiles and catalogues, portrait 2:3 for posters and pins, and landscape 3:2 for banners, headers and slides.
Choose Social post instead and every picture comes out at 1080 × 1350, the 4:5 portrait that feeds show largest. Text and logos are kept inside the safe area, so nothing important sits at an edge.
Give the AI more to work with
A prompt can carry up to 30 files. Add product photos or mood references, a brief or a menu to read, and your own fonts so headlines are set in your typeface.
- Images: PNG, JPEG or SVG, up to 25 MB each
- Documents: up to 10 .docx, .pdf, .txt, .md or .csv files, 15 MB each
- Fonts: up to 4 TTF, OTF, WOFF or WOFF2 files
Every prompt is read first
Before anything is generated, Melon Cut reads what you asked. A question - "what would suit a bakery's opening week?" - gets a written answer for 2 credits instead of a picture. A request for several things at once becomes a plan you can review before it is made.
The cost, before you press go
A picture uses 10 credits, or 15 at High quality, and one made with your brand's guidelines uses 30. The studio shows what each run costs and how many credits you have left before it starts, and every result shows what it used.

Can it put text on a picture?
Yes. Write the exact words in your prompt, and attach up to 4 of your own fonts for the model to set them in. Check the spelling on the result before you publish it.
Is there a free version?
No. Melon Cut Design needs a paid plan. The plans differ only in how many credits they give each month, and every feature is on every plan; see the pricing page.

People also ask
- AI images What is an AI image generator? An AI image generator is a tool that creates a new picture from a written description, called a prompt. It has learned from many images how subjects, light and styles look, so it can draw a scene that never existed. Melon Cut Design generates pictures with GPT Image, in square, portrait or landscape shapes, and as sized social media posts.
- AI images How do I write a good AI image prompt? Say what you want to see, where, and in what style. A good AI image prompt names the subject, the setting, the light or mood, the style - photo, illustration, flat graphic - and where it will be used. Be specific about anything that must appear, such as exact words or a product. Then refine one change at a time instead of rewriting everything.
- Pricing and credits How many credits does an AI image cost? In Melon Cut Design an AI image costs 10 credits at Low or Medium quality and 15 at High quality. A branded image, made with your brand guidelines and your real logo, costs 30. The cost is per picture, so four pictures from one prompt cost four times as much. Edits, such as removing a background, cost 2 to 5 credits.
