A simple structure, and how to improve a result you almost like.
A structure that works
Short prompts leave most choices to the model. Each detail you add is one less thing it has to guess.
- Subject: what is in the picture - "a glass of iced coffee on a marble counter"
- Setting and light: "morning sunlight, soft shadows"
- Style: photo, 3D render, flat illustration or watercolour
- Purpose: "an Instagram post announcing our summer menu"
- Must-haves: exact words to show, colours, space left for text
Refine instead of starting over
When a result is close, describe only what should change: "make the background lighter" or "move the product to the left". Rewriting the whole prompt usually gives a different picture, not a better one.
Prompting in Melon Cut Design
Every prompt is read before anything is made, and each later prompt changes the latest result, so you can refine step by step. Attach reference pictures, a brief or your fonts, and add your brand's @username so you don't have to describe its colours and style every time.
