How do I edit many images at once?

Short answer

Use a batch editor: select the pictures, choose one edit, and it runs on each of them. It suits jobs that repeat across a set, such as removing backgrounds or upscaling. In Melon Cut Design you can apply an edit to up to 8 pictures in one request, and each comes back as its own result, keeping its title and caption.

One edit, applied to a whole set of pictures.

Edits that work well in bulk

Batch editing works best when every picture needs the same thing. Pictures that each need their own fix are better edited one at a time.

  • Removing backgrounds from a set of product photos
  • Placing every product on the same background colour as a packshot
  • Upscaling a set for print
  • Enhancing details across a photo shoot
  • The same described change - "make the background white" - on every picture

How it works in Melon Cut Design

Choose Work on these for the results you want to change, or attach your own PNG or JPEG files, then pick the edit and run it. Up to 8 pictures are edited per request, each using the edit's own credits - 2 to 5, depending on the tool - and the next prompt can change them all again. Download them all as a zip when you are done.
